Serena J.A. Smith received her BFA in Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her glass beads are collected around the world and can be seen in several publications including 1000 Glass Beads from Lark Books.

 

While Serena is best known for her sculptural lampwork glass beads, she also experiments with the combination of lamp work glass with cast, pate de verre, fused glass work, as well as mixed media and electroforming techniques. Born and raised in Yakima, she is a glass crafter, artist, and teacher living in The Dalles, OR.
