Born and raised in Michigan, my family moved to Yakima in 2018 after spending well over a decade living just outside of Washington D.C. I am a multidisciplinary artist that delights in the art of everyday things. I work in many different mediums to explore the unexpected, the overlooked and the unusual in beautiful and playful ways. 

 

A life-long artist, dilly-dallier and professional art educator for over twenty years, I currently serve as the Co-Chair of the Yakima Arts Commision and the Vice President of the Yakima Valley Artists Association. I also earned degrees in Art Education from both The University of Michigan-Flint and Boston University. I believe deeply in the power of art to communicate, heal, and soothe the soul, by slowing us down, keeping us present, and celebrating the beauty that surrounds us.
