Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, Duane Heilman discovered an interest in art and music at an early age. He’s been painting for over fifty years, most often depicting landscapes, still life’s, and portraits. Though primarily working with oil on canvas, he also enjoys pencil drawings and abstract construction pieces. Duane shows his work in galleries and at art events in and around Yakima.
