Mike Hiler

Mike Hiler attended art school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City Art Institute, and the University of GTO, San Miguel MEXICO before receiving his degree in art at San Francisco State University. Although his interest is primarily ceramics, he also manufactures recycled split cedar walking sticks. Mike has worked as a fire lookout and as a Wilderness Ranger in the Goat Rocks, William O. Douglas and Norse Peak Wilderness. He has hiked extensively along the Pacific Crest Trail of western Yakima County and has Climbed Mt. Rainer, Old Snowy, Gilbert Peak, Mt. Aix, McNeil Peak and Ironstone Mt, and Desolation Peak, to name a few.
