Christie Tirado

Christie Tirado is an artist, and a teacher. With a background in Chicano Studies, Art History and Printmaking from the University of Washington, and a MIT from Heritage University; Christie's pieces explore the idea of identity in relation to her Mexican roots. Caught in between this non-existent space, she finds herself creating pieces that explore themes and or issues relevant to her life today. The majority of her pieces are portraits and are usually screen printed, block printed, or hand drawn.
